2年生　英語でwrapping

12月9日(火)～12月10日(水)にかけて、2年生の英語科特別授業として英語でwrappingが行われました。英語を使って、日本の伝統的な包装と水引きの結び方を学びました。難しい包み方や結び方に、生徒たちは一生懸命取り組んでいました。

＜生徒感想＞

I have a good impression of ‘English wrapping.’  We folded a crane.  It was very difficult, but the crane is a traditional shape so it can be placed on any package.  In addition, using the mizuhiki was interesting, and it has a long history.  So I could experience traditional wrapping.  This was a good chance to touch Japanese culture and learn about Japanese gifts.  In fact, I think I could study both English and Japanese in this class.  It’s an enjoyable event.
